Hi Crafty Friends,  I want to thank Mixed Media Academy for inviting me to be their Guest Design Team for May 2020 Challenge!
Have you seen the Moodboard?  It's so Gorgeous and sweet I had to create something that would showcase my adorable niece Jolee,  the picture was perfect for this color scheme! I created a canvas to inspire you all..

  
I began with a stencil texture paste,  acrylic paint and glitter paste,  magical shaker and created my background.  I did some stamping with grey ink and also stamped with embossing powder to add more texture to my background.  
With the brick chipboard pieces I added white crackle texture paste then spray painted them with 2 different colors amd with the Baby chipboard piece I painted it with some acrylic paint and lastly I heat embossed the filmstrip chipboard with Lindy's embossing powders.  
I gathered embellishments from my stash that would match the mood board and started my layers.  Once I had it all lined out I then added microbeads,  sequins and beads for a pop of interest. Here are some more close ups...

Hello everyone,

Myself Riddhi Jani, from India. I’m into art since my childhood, professionally I’m involved in my art n craft small business for more than 5 years. I am always inspired by quotes, thoughts, nature and colours which is visible in all my art work. 

Here in today’s project I’m inspired by the colours of the mood board, I used shade of blue, pink, yellow from the board along with a pastel green shade to give it a contrast look.

CS size is 12”12 inches and I used watercolours as well as chalk paints for making the background. I also used various stamps to add more detailing. Added few flowers and chipboards to enhance the overall look of the layout.

May Second DT Inspiration

This month's Challenge is to make something around the Theme "Hey Baby" and you have to use at least three colours from our Moodboard. Remember we do not accept CARDS/TAGS/ATCs /POSTCARDS

Children are the flowers of our lives.
This month we have a great challenge and a very delicate color palette.
This time, my project is about a cute bunny, with a pocket in which you can insert a few pictures and review them.
It can be placed in a children's room, on a bedside table, or in any accessible place - where it can please the eye and revive the memory with cute moments.

My Project for May
This month's moodboard is so adorable with pretty colors. I have created a canvas layout.
Truly, children are a bundle of joy.... a precious little miracle!
If we all could see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything....
So look at the world with the child's eye...it is very beautiful!

My girl my life according to me having a baby means going through a series of heartwarming milestones, such as seeing the baby take his first step, say his first word, or smile at someone for the first time. However, the most incredible moment is when the baby actually learns to recognize his parents. I love you my sweet cute girl mumma always with you

The mood board & the color pallet was so lovely & attractive, I choose my base design to be a tiny feet of baby as a base & blended all the colors in it...

“The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts". It’s a good thing babies don’t give you a lot of time to think. You fall in love with them and when you realize how much they love you back, life is very simple.”

When a child is born no matter boy or a girl a lot of happiness comes to our life. As I've got a boy I made a lot of blue projects but I love pink therefore this time is a frame for a little special one.

Babies always bring joy to our lives and this moment of struggle we need to keep them protected and make them feel loved. So let's make something dedicated to them this month.

Yes, my daughter Lila brings a lot of joy to me and my husband. Joy and stress for our dogs. Pride and love for her grandparents. That is why I did not think for a long time and for the current challenge I chose a picture of my daughter, here when she was about a year old. Little sweet baby girl - like mom

Hello, crafty souls! Сhildhood is a great time for parents and for children. We develop and learn the world together. This vintage photo shows that children are beautiful at all times. We must enjoy the minutes we spend together, give love and tenderness.

Babies are the most precious things for a mother and it's funny how watching your kids grow older, can be the best and worst feeling in the entire world.

I feel proud when I see kiddo growing up yet I wish he remains small for a little longer. This month I made a simple Layout inspired by the colours on our moodboard Pink, yellow and Blue.

Babies bring abundance joy to all. Their innocent and cute smile is contagious. The mood board is full of pastel shades and i chose to do my project with soft blues and pinks.

I have make a journal page for my inspiration.

There is nothing quite as exciting as waiting for the arrival of a new baby. There are no words that can describe the feelings when your baby recognizes you for the first time and smile. A baby brings pure joy and ultimate happiness in your life and make life colorful.
