Hello sweeties! I'm so happy to be Guest Design for Mixed Media Academy.  I'm a romantic lady so I tried to combine the colors and nature theme of the mood board with some feminine elements and I hope it inspires you. I also made a video tutorial and you can watch the creative process.

PHOTO Project

I took a wood heart from the dollar store and gave it a coat of white gesso. After drying, I adhered a piece of lace to one side of the heart. I gave textures with a stencil and modeling paste.  I started to make my composition with a few branches that I found in the yard. I chose some flowers and leaves in the same colors of the moodboard and stick them around the branches. Next, I added some resin pieces like the bird, frames and swirls.  Once everything was adhered it, I gave color in some areas of the stencil work.  Finally, I added more textures with art stones, pearls and metal hearts.

July Second DT Reveal

Your deepest roots are in nature 🌿 No matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of life you lead, you remain irrevocably linked with the rest of creation.

I am a person who is indulged in nature 🌿 & always prefer spending quality time with nature 🌿 @ any point of time. so from one such trip to a hill station I had collected a piece of wood bark with beautiful texture on it, am happy I could make use of it in this project.

If you truly love nature 🌿 you'll find beauty everywhere & in every thing.

Hope I made justice to the lifeless dried bark.

Hello guys.. here is my inspiration project for July.

I have alter a green glass bottle.

Keep close to nature's heart... it means to take a walk in the trees and smell the wild air and nature's ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe.

Nature is mysterious...join us in this

adventure ride, take the scenic route and be close to nature this month...what an amazing mood board we have for the month of July! The green monochromatic shades depict color of life, renewal, harmony, joy n freshness!

I have altered a tin toy truck showcasing mother nature with the beauty of flora n fauna which the nature holds!

Nature's peace will flow into you and bring happiness n calmness in your life...so always keep close to nature's heart. Enjoy its eternal beauty!

Hello, friends! Today I'd like to share with you my vision of nature..Did you see our incredible moodboard? When I saw these colors, I wanted to create something gentle and elegant. Ophelia of Waterhouse very accurately expresses my mood. She is mysterious and dreamy..I added textures to make the forest look more realistic..I hope that inspired you to participate in our challenge this month!

As a decoration of any room, a spring house in juicy shades of green will be perfect. As we know perfectly well, green is a symbol of nature and hope.

This month moodboard is amazing. In this year 2020, I understand the importance of nature and to be seat under a clear sky...feels like heaven !!! Nothing more we human beings want from GOD...

So here I try to capture a little girl who is sitting under a sky in green forest and looking like a little fairy 🙂 who is happy in her own world !

Nature is home and we need to protect it, adapt to the pace of nature. We need to restore the balance and teach our kids to treat nature as their own.

July Challenge

Welcome to July Crafty edition of Mixed Media Academy Challenge.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated last month. We'll announce our winner on 8 July, so keep looking this space. This month also we have our generous sponsors giving away fabulous prizes. So come and join us...

This month we have a monochrome GREEN mood board with the theme "Keep Close To Nature's Heart" Make a project inspired by the moodboard picture. You may use elements/quotes related to nature and Natural elements.Shades of GREEN is what we want to see in your project.

Do stick to the moodboard and use at least 3 colours from the palette.
And Remember NO CARDS/TAGS/ATCs/ POSTCARDS

WHICH IS INDICATION OF BALANCE , FRESHNESS AND harmony.

ACCORDING TO ME

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.”

So join us this month. In like manner, let the intensity of nature give you motivation for innovativeness.

Nature is Mysterious. Nature is a blessing for us. We all should preserve it and take care of nature and realise how important nature is for us. In the current scenario everyone of us realised the importance of nature, my project represents the mystery, nature holds in itself and realise it's blessing and be thankful.

Green color reminds me of the power of nature - that's why I used a heart in this project. We must always remember that without a nature we can't survive

Green colour symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Also, it has strong emotional correspondence with safety, therefore, is my Green Angel Guard, to protect and make my life more harmonious .

For me Green colour represents calmness, relaxation, also provides a sense of vitality and renewal. All lim Nature is divine, so let it bloom. Grow more plant and take care of our planet.

Time spent in nature is time spent realizing that you don't know it all and that you never will. Green is my favourite colour. It always keeps me close to nature. Here's my take on the July mood board.

For me walking through nature, be it forest, hills and mountains, beaches, or just greenery all around gives me satisfaction and peace to find myself. John Muir said, " In every walk with nature, one receives far more than one seeks." I have found out to be true for me every single time. Being one with nature is peaceful and therapeutic. I discover more about myself in the relaxation tht being in the lap of nature povides. Hence the quote that I chose. The leaves in the journal page design represents nature and mandala represents the world inside me.
