Greetings of the day Everyone!
I Sneha protean crafter, welcome you all to my guest post for mixed media academy.

First of all I want to give my heartfelt thanks to MMA  for having me here on the blog as a guest designer. I feel euphoric for this guest design project for March and to inspire you all with a simplistic and compelling project which is easy to make. The mood board of March is full of colors and I love playing with colors. I am sharing a mixed media canvas with you all.

I have followed simple steps to create this canvas starting with base priming with gesso. Here I have taken a pre primed canvas and have applied colored texture paste across the canvas. Stamping the base with scripted text and arrow heads stamps here and there. Thereafter making ready all the elements like chipboards  and frame for the project by embossing them. Some other elements like flowers, die cuts and lace. And then placing them in a cohesive way to complete the flow of the project. Few beads and glitters added using a soft gel medium . Finally distressed the border to complete the canvas. You can watch the step by step process of the project creation  on my you tube channel or read it on my blog. I truly hope you all like the project and  feel motivated to create something unique and participate in the MMA March challenge.

                                                                                              Hi everyone!

My name is Asia Marquet/ Lemon Creation and I have a pleasure to be a Guest Designer on MMA blog today  I am a Franco-Polish crafter since 5 years or so,who loves creating  mostly art journals. Recently I started drawing and as a result I am now a stamp & stencil designer. That gives me enormous joy and a sense of achievement as for the past few years I was a stay-at-home mum and finalIy I feel like  I am spreading my wings! Art gives me so much happiness and that's why I love so much this month's moodboard! It's a blast of color and joy and it brings a smile on my face, and smiling is precious! This is what art is to me- possibility to experiment, to pour your heart out on the paper, to mix and match all thecolors in the world! And to smile while doing it.

Hello friends! Today I want to share my bright inspiration. I love rich colors, so my work is reminiscent of summer and southern countries. The blue door invites us to the world of adventure and joyful events!

Our March moodboard is all about the bright colour so I decided to just grab three of the colours, without overthinking whether how they would look together or with any real finish in mind. I created the background image using a stencil and white embossing powder, then just splashed those colours on the page! It's messy, it's fun, it's what art should be!

Everyday paint your world in colours.
Colours are Life.
Colours are hapiness.

I believe Art breathes life into space. Every element of art speaks volumes to the artist and it is this imagination of the artist that pushes him/her to create art. Here's my Mixed Media inspiration for the March mood board challenge. The colour palette is so vibrant and the elements and textures are absolutely gorgeous which motivated me to make this abstract piece.

Here is my project for March month challenge.
Using so many colors in one project is something I have never done. The moodboard really made me challenge myself to create something very different. Love the bright colors, specially the yellow and blue combination from the moodboard and the paint brushes image. Inspired by it, I have altered this palette with many techniques and elements

Great artists are people who find a way to be themselves in their art. Any sort of pretension induces mediocrity in art and life alike.

Art is a colour of life. Art-making has an alchemical effect on the imagination. It awakens the senses and sharpens insights, teaching us to think in symbols, metaphors, and to de-code complexity, so we can perceive the world in new ways.

Her is my inspiration project for March. I have created a mixed media project. Using all colours from the colour palette (Moodboard).

Hope you like my project.

The colors of the moodboard is colorful and bright. The elements of the moodboard reminded me nature,water, affection, love and enjoying. This made me to pick 'Aloha'.
Aloha is nothing but greetings, love & affection.. Aloha is way of life..

This months moodboard is pretty exciting! And its always fun experimenting with different colours and their shades.. I chose shades of blue, pink and yellow from the moodboard.. as The quote suggest, 'its kind of magic' how colours help you with the flow of your design and speaks so much about you, your emotions without using any words..

To quote it,

"I found I could say things with shapes and colours that I couldn't say otherwise.. things I had no word for"

What an amazing cluster of colours this month! Love it 😍 so vibrant and cheerful. These bright and happy colours gives me little happiness in my heart. So I have chosen this cute little elephant to create this page.

March moodboard is full of colors and so are my art journal pages. I made the background using acrylic paints and a spatel. I used yellow, green, blue and magenta shades. I also use a stamp - portrait of a woman (such as on one of the moodboard photos). I added a crown and wings cut out from the transparent foil. The sentence ‘Paint your life’ corresponds to the moodboard topic: ‘Life is an art, live yours in color’. In art, we can bring colors to our life, no matter what is going on around.

When I saw the cupcakes and The Bright colours On the moodboard This idea popped into my mind and I wanted to create something colourful and with a lot of cupcakes and ice creams

So I started with a big cupcake and just painted it with neon colours

I cut out some pictures of cupcakes out of magazines and I have some Chip boards with ice creams so I painted Them glued Them on the cupcake I also saw The circles on the moodboard And that Inspirate me to make some chocolate on my cupcake.

Ofcourse the lovely quote couldnt miss on my cupcake!

I had some blank spots left and i wanted to fill that up.

I looked again at the moodboard and saw the Roses. That was going to be my finishing touch.

My life is surely an art and this self discovery happened when I found my love for Mixed Media. I love creating everyday and read about it, experiment with it. So I create art and it keeps me inspired and I hope it inspires a lot among you as well.
Inspired by the QUOTE and COLORS from the Moodboard, I created a journal page with lots of layers.

I am totally inspired by March mood board - “life is art - live yours in colour !” Life is a like art . It’s all about how you make it beautiful. So Paint  your life with lot of colourful days and moments . It’s all in your hands after all Life is what you make it !!
Inspired by different colours of mood board which represents beautiful life .. and I used brush as element from mood board as well .
I hope you like it !!

I have several identical boxes of biscuits in my cupboard with materials. Of course, there are different things in each. To distinguish the box with sewing stuff, which I most often take out, I decided to decorate it. For the main colors, I chose from the palette green and blue. As accents add a little orange and yellow. Now, I will certainly recognize this box immediately.
