Hello hello mixed media fans....This is Madhurima here and I am excited to share with you all my second special guest DT inspiration for mixed media academy. This month we have a very versatile and thoughtful moodboard which can be interpreted in quite a few different ways.

For me when I hear the phrase “ Mind over matter” it instantly transports me to the time which I spend leisurely and in a carefree manner with friends and family far away from the daily hustle bustle of our chaotic life.

For the present mood board I have created a mixed media round plaque and have firstly covered it with black gesso. The entire black background depicts the grey area of our mind. My focal points are the two ladies who are sort of a conversation with each other which is symbolic of the quality time we spend with our close ones. I have deliberately chosen the ladies having Victorian attire to sort of bring in the element of a peaceful life that was prevalent in the Victorian era.
