AUGUST CHALLENGE !!!

Hello and Welcome to AUGUST challenge with us at Mixed Media Academy.

 We have made certain changes to our Mood board  and rules starting from last month. Please read all rules mentioned below before you enter our challenge As always we have our amazing sponsors giving away fabulous prizes to our winners.

Our Challenge is based on THEME & COMPULOSRY ELEMENT 

MOOD BOARD THEME : MIND ILLUSION

COMPULSORY ELEMENT : KEY

This month's theme is Magic as Mind Illusion. You have to use "KEY" as the compulsory element. You may interpret key in any way you like. There is no particular colour scheme, however, it will be wonderful to try to be close to the colours in moodboard. 

Please remember to read the RULES before entering the challenge

- Create a NEW project 

- Use the COMPLULSORY ELEMNET  and take inspiration from the Mood board theme

- We DO NOT accept Cards, Tags, Postcards, ATCs.

- Mention our challenge in your post, share our Mood board and a link to our challenge on your blog. 

- If you do not have a blog, participate through Social Media and share our Mood board along with your project picture Tagging us (FB Or IG)

- Link your projects in the InLinkz tool at the bottom of this post with your Name and Country Name as Title

- Follow our blog, Instagram and like our Facebook Page

Magical places are always beautiful and deserve to be contemplated…..Always stay on the bridge between the invisible and the visible…I was totally inspired by this months challenge theme “Magical Illusions” to create this mixed media canvas and including the key element “KEY” Hope u too enjoy this inspiration and do take time to participate in this month’s challenge. I don't know the author of this quote but yeah these words really inspires me.. This month we have amazing compulsory element i.e. KEY and I have used this element as my focal of the project.. For the composition I have used MDF Scraps and I love the way this project turns out to be..

I created a Magic box full of ilusión

There is magic in words, and like all magic can be more or less credible, more or less real, but there is something that words and magic have in common, they are capable of opening doors to other worlds, to impossible destinations and places, wonderful, unreal, but at the end of the day, tied to this your reality through your eyes.

For this month's project I opted to go with the Compulsory element Key as my base. 

I took a base shaped as a key and created on it. Life can be a pretty illusion, we have to know where we need to go and find our ways. I used a lot of mixed media elements here. Hope you are inspired.

Illusion is a state of mind and we can feel it in our day to day life as well. I tried to create a magical illusion scene of night where my imagination took shape of an illusion. I used lots of beautiful moulds and metallic waxes.

Hi friends! I want to share my mystical work. I associate the theme of illusion with the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland. Deception, mirage, strange creatures - all this is exactly Alice. It provides an endless source of inspiration for creativity.
